Components for Electronics OEMs
Shrinking operating margins, complex global supply-chains, service and warranty management, short product lifecycles, uncertain demand and environmental concerns are all major challenges for electronics manufacturers and OEMs. Plus, as electronic devices have gotten smaller, the machined components that comprise them shrink as well. So, machining electronics parts requires a milling machine or CNC machining center specifically designed for the small tools required for the prototyping or production of small electronics parts.
The rate of change and advancement in the electronics industry can be startling, especially over the past few decades. The names at the top of the industry today were brand new companies just ten years ago. To survive, an electronics company needs to be as flexible as it is quick. And to excel, that company must be able to overcome both existing and emerging challenges in the market.
At Hardy Machine, the focus of our work for the electronics industry is high-speed machining, high-speed milling and high-speed engraving with small tools or microtooling (1/4″ and under). Our state-of-the-art technology, superior quality control and ISO 9001:2015 certification allow us to meet and exceed the specific needs of electronics manufacturers, including the development and production of electronics components. We understand that finishes and edges are critical because of the sensitivity of electrical components. We have the high-speed CNC milling and engraving machines required to produce components suited to your needs, the expertise to get the job done right, the assembly skills (including both clean and dirty assembly areas) to take the job from start to completion, as well as the quality control and documentation you require.

Our exceptional milling and engraving capabilities, combined with our focus on flexibility and agility, gives you the opportunity to bring your previously outsourced work back in-house and significantly improve both your time-to-market and your bottom line.
Our assembly services can help you save time and money by reducing the number of parts and lowering shipping costs. We offer full assembly, sub-assembly and kit assembly as well as pressure testing to ensure a tight seal for liquid and gas parts. We can also provide fully finished parts. Our facility has a clean assembly area for medical and electronics parts and a separate area for soldering, gluing, brazing or any other processes that create waste.
From 5 – 10,000 pieces or more, our state-of-the-art multi-axis equipment allows your parts to come off the line complete and fully functioning at tolerances of +/- 0.0002. Our magazine bar feeders allow for lights-out production. We manufacture parts from 1/16” to 1-¼” diameter in plastic, brass, aluminum and stainless steel.
We can run 24×7 (unattended lights-out) with our top-of-the-line robotics and magazine bar loader equipment. With a +/- 0.0002 tolerance and a 1/4″ – 8” diameter our multi-axis machine offers tapping, turning, milling and drilling so that your plastic, brass, aluminum and stainless-steel parts come off complete.
Hardy Machine offers high-precision vertical and horizontal (6 and 8 pallet) milling machines and high-speed drilling and tapping. This equipment can run lights-out which provides our customers speed, repeatability, accuracy and cost savings.
With a 1/4″ – 2-5/8” bar capacity and 8 – 12 station turrets, we have the right fit for all of your turned parts.
You can’t gain a reputation for exceptional parts that hold up under high and low pressure liquid and gas without superior quality control. We can provide bubble drawings, full inspection reports, material certifications and any other documentation required.
You don’t stay in business for over 60 years without generations-deep expertise and a commitment to your customers.
We pride ourselves in the fact that every single member of our team sees themselves as an extension of our OEM customers’ logistics program. We know that many manufacturers offer the same equipment, tolerances and materials. What makes customers choose us and stay with us is our quality, expertise and service. We go out of our way to put a smile on our customers’ faces—by getting the job done right the first time or going above and beyond to help them meet the needs of a demanding project. Find out why so many customers have chosen Hardy Machine for over 60 years.
We offer an uncompromising commitment to customer-focused reliability and innovation. That’s what makes Hardy Machine the leading supplier of precision-machined components for electronics OEMs.
